HTTP/web monitoring features include monitoring web site accessibility, URL availability, web pages returned within a given time, web pages contain/don't contain given text.
FTP monitoring features include monitoring FTP site accessibility, ability to upload (PUT) files, ability to download (GET) files, within a given timeframe.
Other monitoring features include the status of Windows services, TCP/IP port access, Windows firewall status,
verify server & software performance, ensure sufficient disk space is available, monitor errors written to the Windows Event Logs as well as errors written to custom log files.
